Dave Grusin has written the music and composed the theme songs for over twenty network television shows including "Maude", "St. Elsewhere" and "Good Times".  Dave was nominated for eight Academy Awards, winning one Oscar for "The Milagro Beanfield War".  His other nominated films include, "The Champ", "Tootsie", "On Golden Pond," "Heaven Can Wait," "The Firm", "The Fabulous Baker Boys" and "Havana."  He was the co-founder of GRP Records, the groundbreaking jazz label that was nominated for eighty Grammy Awards.  Dave himself was nominated for thirty-eight Grammys and he won ten. Grusin has scored more than sixty Feature Films and been involved as a producer, composer and pianist on over one hundred record albums.


BARBARA BENTREEDIRECTOR, PRODUCER 5c465q

Barbara Bentree is an award-winning vocalist who worked for two decades in Los Angeles. Bentree took First Place in the prestigious Hennessey Jazz Search with her acapella vocal group TERRA NOVA.  Barbara has directed theatre companies, and produced music for television shows, most notably as a part of The New Mickey Mouse Club production team on The Disney Channel.  Bentree previously directed and produced a documentary film titled "My Choice" about women's reproductive issues and another film titled "Should You Go?" about High School Reunions.  Ms. Bentree has served on the Board for New Mexico Women In Film and has been a member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.

JOHN RANGELPRODUCER 183d5y

John Rangel is a Musician and Producer living in Santa Fe. He previously owned a recording studio and performed in Los Angeles for over a decade.  In addition to being a sought after Music Producer, Composer and Pianist, he has been involved in the music production teams for the following films and television programs; "Cold Mountain," "Levity," "Appaloosa," Heartbreakers," "Thor," "Flags of Our Fathers" and "The John Laroquette Show" to name a few.  John was also part of the music staff for several television shows produced by The Disney Channel.  Rangel is currently partnered with Barbara Bentree in the development of several original screenplays and a jazz series for television.

AUTUMN EAKINDIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY 5012

Autumn's most recent film, "The Light of the Moon" won the Audience Award at SXSW in 2017.  She was also a cameraperson on the critically acclaimed music documentary "Mavis!"  Autumn has an extensive list of other film credits including; "What's Revenge," "Wig Shop," "No Le Digas A Nadie (Don't Tell Anyone)," "The Beauty of Disaster," "A Woman's Place," "Die the Good Death," "One Day Home," "Ashima Shiraishi: A Strong Mind," "The Untitled Father," "Conrad & The Steam Plant," and "Straight/Curve."  Many of these films have been multiple Film Festival Selections and Winners.  She was also the DP for the film "Hard Hatted Woman," a recent IFP Week Selection.  Autumn is the founder of CINEMATOGRAPHERS XX, a website and networking group showcasing the work of female Directors of Photography.

Kate has been the editor of the Academy Award-winning documentary features "The Long Way Home," and "Into The Arms of Strangers: Stories of the Kindertransport" for which she received the American Cinema Editors' EDDIE AWARD.  She teaches documentary production courses at USC in Los Angeles.  Amend edited the 2001 Oscar-nominated documentary short "On Tiptoe: Gentle Steps to Freedom" and the Peabody Award winner "Beah: A Black Woman Speaks."  She is a frequent Advisor at the Sundance Institute’s Documentary Storytelling Lab and the National Association of Latino Independent Producers' Academy.  Amend is on the Board of Directors of the American Cinema Editors and is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.  In 2005, she received the inaugural award for Outstanding Documentary Editing Award from the International Documentary Association.  She also supervised the editing of "The Girls in the Band" about female jazz musicians.

Jeremy has worked on a wide variety of projects ranging from narrative shorts, music videos, infomercials, narrative features and several feature length documentaries, 2 of which have been screened at the Festival de Cannes. Jeremy is currently on the faculty at USC where he teaches Film Editing in the School of Cinematic Arts.

Dyanna Taylor is an award winning Cinematographer and Director of Photography who has received the honored Muse Lifetime Achievement Award for Outstanding Vision and Achievement in Cinematography from New York Women in Film and Television.  She has traveled the world lensing documentaries, and television specials on social issues and environmental / wildlife concerns.  Her credits include work for HBO, PBS, ABC, NBC, CBS.  Her recent work includes the Disney feature "McFarland" and "Sleepless in America" for National Geographic, and "Who Will Write our History" filmed in Warsaw and Prague.  Her own film: "Dorothea Lange: Grab a Hunk of Lightning" has special meaning because she is Dorothea Lange’s granddaughter.

JUSTIN LUBKEDRONE OPERATOR, CINEMATOGRAPHER 5ej14

Justin’s work as a Director and Cinematographer has earned him many Film Festival and Advertising Awards.  Justin’s Feature Documentary, "Class C" won two Emmy awards.  Another film he lensed, "Not Yet Begun to Fight" about America’s wounded warriors was selected by Roger Ebert as one of the top films of the year.  Justin specializes in outdoor 4K Drone photography and often participates in documentaries about environmental issues.  Justin also enjoys creating media for non-profit organizations that he believes are doing valuable work here and abroad.

Nick Heizmann started in the music industry as a professional vinyl record salesman specializing in jazz. He has also worked as a sales promoter and was a music producer at a radio station. Nick eventually became a promoter and ended up in international management & acquisition. Robin Heizmann (Nick's cousin) is a professional photographer who also specializes in IT and digital image processing. Robin was previously involved as a CIO and CTO for various corporate groups. Nick and Robin formed NiRo Music, the Independent Swiss Record label and Promotion Agency, in 2013.
